Referral Program
Our community grows through trusted referrals. Whether you are referring a new member to our waiting list or connecting us with a homeowner willing to rent to our foundation, we appreciate your support and offer a $25 referral payment for every qualified referral.
Who Can Refer Someone?
Anyone can participate in our referral program, including:
Community members
Case managers
Probation or parole officers
Shelter staff
Temp agencies
Friends and family
Property owners
Members of the public
There are no restrictions on who can refer.
Types of Referrals We Accept
1. Member Referrals
You may refer individuals who need safe, structured housing, including:
Veterans
Domestic violence survivors
Returning citizens
Young adults exiting foster care
Individuals needing stable transitional housing
2. Property Owner Referrals
You may refer:
Homeowners
Landlords
Investors
Property managers
who are willing to rent homes to The Staggers Foundation.

To process your referral and pay you correctly, please provide:

Your Address (for mailed payments)

Name of the Person You ReferredorName of the Property Owner You Referred
Any contact information you have for the person you referred

Referral Payment Rules
To receive the $25 referral payment, the following must be completed:
The referred member must complete the credit check, admin fee, and membership process.
The membership must be fully approved and completed.
15 days after the membership is completed, the referral payment is issued.
For property owner referrals, payment is issued after the homeowner signs a rental agreement with the foundation.
How Referral Payments Are Sent
We offer two payment options:
Mailed prepaid credit card
Mailed referral payment (check or payment card)
You will choose your preferred method on the referral form.

Program Integrity
All referrals are reviewed for accuracy. Fraudulent referrals or incomplete information may delay or cancel payment. Only one referral payment is issued per qualified member or property owner.
